Lettuce Mix 6-pack
Our Lettuce Transplants are a Salanova Premier Collection, giving you a beautiful variety of color, flavor, and texture!
Our 6-pack is a mix of Green Butter, Red Butter, Green Oakleaf, Red Oakleaf, Green Lola Rossa, and Red Lola Rossa Lettuces.
Lettuce is a hardy, cool-weather crop. Our starts have been hardened are ready to get in the ground!
TO PLANT:
Aim to plant your lettuces 8–10" apart in rows 12–18"
TO HARVEST:
Once the leaves reach a harvestable length, about 3-4” long, you can harvest the outer leaves by pinching them gently at the base which will allow the smaller inner leaves to grow bigger, or you can take a knife and cute the top of the head as long as you ** do not cut into the base of your lettuce head ** in order to allow it to continue growing.
Pick-up + Delivery Options
We have a Farm pick-up, Market pick-up, and Delivery option.
Farm pick-up days are Saturdays and Sundays each week where you can pick up your share anytime between 8am-4pm from our pick-up stand here at our farm in Greenwood, Mo.
Market pick-up is where we’ll have your bag ready with your name on it at Farmers Market, Downtown Lee’s Summit, every Saturday from 8am-12. When there is no Farmers Market, we will shift to pickup at the farmstand for that week.
Our Delivery option is a $5 fee
